Treble Cone does not conduct avalanche control or provide Ski Patrol outside of the ski area boundary. When going backcountry, carry the right gear, have the right knowledge, check local conditions and forecasts and always ski or board in groups.

If you are planning on leaving your car in the Treble Cone carpark overnight (or after the official 5pm close time), please let Ski Patrol know (via Reception) your intentions in person or by calling +64 (03) 443 7443.

Before going backcountry skiing or snowboarding always check local avalanche conditions

For local avalanche conditions and safety advice, please visit the New Zealand Avalanche Centre website.
