Departs Queenstown iSite for Treble Cone at 07:15. Departs Treble Cone for Queenstown at 16:15.
The Pump/Base2 Mini Mountain is the stage for junior athletes to demonstrate their big-mountain moxie in the home of New Zealand freeride. In this event, young athletes have the opportunity to show off their skills in front of a panel high-profile freeride judges. Competitors are scored on their ability to choose a line and ride with fluidity and creativity through un-groomed terrain.

Course Location: Upper Sinclair's or equivalent.
Format: 2 judged runs each, best run counts

Prizes (for each category):
1st Place: $30 and a pair of goggles
2nd Place: $20 and a backpack
3rd Place: $10 and a Beanie
Age categories will be assigned by being under the age range by 31st December of this year. Eg, if the competitor turns 12 in this calendar year they will compete in the U14. Please contact us if you have any further questions regarding this.

A great chance for aspirant freeriders to work with Team TC's Freeride Coaches and prepare for the PUMP Mini Mountain event. This full day of coaching takes place the Friday before the competition and is intended to help competitors with line choice and in understanding the way in which judges will score individual performances.Book Now
The Junior Interfield is open to all skiers up to age 16. With medals awarded for the top three boys and girls in the U8, U10, U12, U14 and U16 divisions. All skiers are welcome but athletes must be a member of Snowsports NZ before paying $15 race fee.Join Snowsports NZ
