Learn to Ski 1-2-FREE at Treble Cone Ski AreaIs this the year you try something new and learn to ski or snowboard?

Treble Cone's NEW Learn to Ski 1 - 2 - FREE programme has been launched to help introduce new skiers and riders to the fun of skiing and snowboarding with real progression over 3 days.

The programme includes enough time on the snow to really get a feel for and progress from a 'first timer' to a 'beginner' skier and includes ski or snowboard equipment hire, a daily two hour group Snow Sports School lesson with one of Treble Cone's handpicked professional instructors, and more.

  • Day 1 - Enjoy an inclusive First Timer Package ($99 adult / $85 child)
  • Day 2 - Enjoy an inclusive Beginner Plus Package ($99 adult / $85 child)
  • Day 3 - Enjoy an inclusive Beginner Plus Package (FREE - Save $99 adult / $85 child)

So what's included in a First Timer and Beginner Plus package?

  • Learner Lift Pass (all day Platter and Magic Carpet access)
  • 2 hour Group Lesson (ski or snowboard)
  • Ski or Snowboard Equipment Rental (all day)
  • Scenic Chairlift Ride (includes hot drink in cafe)

Adult $99 / Child $85 NZD

BEGINNER PLUS package

  • Learner Lift Pass (all day Platter and Magic Carpet access)
  • 2 hour Group Lesson (ski or snowboard)
  • Ski or Snowboard Equipment Rental (all day)
  • Easy Rider access via Chairlift (for the duration of the Beginner Lesson)

Adult $99 / Child $85 NZD

With the 'Learn to Ski 1 - 2 - FREE' package, you'll receive a second Beginner Plus package on Day 3 to really help you progress and ensure you've nailed the beginner stages of skiing or snowboarding.

What else MAY you need?

Whilst this programme includes the lesson, equipment and access to the snow, we suggest that you also bring with you, or rent or purchase on the mountain;

  • Eyewear - Ski goggles are the best in most conditions, sunglasses can be ok on sunny days
  • A warm hat or helmet - helmets can be rented at Treble Cone, or hats purchased
  • You'll need to bring warm clothes, including long warm socks
  • Ski jackets and pants can be rented at Treble Cone

To get to Treble Cone, you can drive yourself or jump on a bus from either Wanaka or Queenstown.

The Fine Print

  • This 3 day programme should be used over 3 consecutive days to ensure real progression
  • All 3 days must be purchased in one transaction as a 'Learn to Ski 1 - 2 - FREE' package
  • The components of this package are non-transferrable or refundable
  • Total cost of the 3 day programme is $198 adult / $170 child
  • Equipment rental includes; skis + boots + poles, or, snowboard + boots + wrist guard
  • All kids are offered a free rental helmet with their ski or snowboard hire
