Extending the number, quality and accessability of Treble Cone's intermediate trails has been a focus over the last few seasons, including significant earthworks to improve the lay of the land. Modifications since 2012 have included; the NEW High Street extension offering an easier route back to the Home Basin, the NEW Side Saddle offering an additional intermediate groomed trail in the Saddle Basin and the re-alignment of Raffills Run, Saddle Back and Roller Roaster making accessing and utilising key trails easier for the progressing intermediate rider.
|1. Roller Coaster||Regularly||A short intro to blue run which starts and finishes on the safety of the now familiar Easy Rider. Roller Coaster is a moderate pitch and a great way to find out if you're ready for more blue terrain.|
|2. Main Street||Nightly||A long and wide blue trail running the full length of the Home Basin. Main Street has a mix of pitches and options on many of the legs to head back towards green terrain.|
|3. Pete's Treat||Nightly||Accessed via the Saddle Track or Raffills Run, Pete's Treat is a gentle blue run. For an easy option to explore Pete's Treat, try the Saddle Track / High Street return that will loop you around the Saddle Basin without having to negotiate the steeper runs.|
|4. High Street||Nightly||Used as an access trail to the Saddle Basin or return trail to the Home Basin, High street starts off wide before narrowing into a cat track style path starting at the first entrance to Saddle Back.|
|5. Raffills Run||Nightly||An iconic run with an incredible view. Raffills Run has a moderate and consistent pitch from start to finish. As an introduction into the Saddle Basin, this is as good as it gets.|
|6. Side Saddle||Regularly||A new addition in 2015, Side Saddle holds some of the driest snow on the mountain, offering chalky turns days after the last snowfall. The pitch of Side Saddle is moderate, with the fall line tilting skiers right.|
|7. South Ridge||Regularly||Side Saddle is one of the widest and gentlest run at Treble Cone, ending a short steeper section visible from the bottom of the Saddle Chairlift (look far left from the lift load). If the last pitch looks achievable, you will love the rest of this run.|
|8. Saddle Back||Regularly||Saddle Back is quickly becoming the most utilised groomed trail because of its super wide face running straight down the middle of the Saddle Basin. Perfect to let your now competent skills go a little as you cruise the freshly laid corduroy.|
Test your skills on intro to blue 'Roller Coaster' before committing to one of Treble Cone's longer blue trails.
