TREBLE CONE
Treble Cone has been producing great skiers and snowboarders for 50 years. If your ambition is to develop your technique to a high level, consider one of our progressive coaching programmes.
Ride Tribe TC is Treble Cone's local kids' programme, and runs on the same 6 Sundays as Ride Tribe Cardrona and the Cardrona Academy. We look after all ages and levels in Ride Tribe TC, so your kids can rip around the mountain with their friends.
- 6 Week Programme - August 4th to September 8th
- Lessons run from 9.30am – 2.00pm
- Ski: 5-14 years (all levels, plus advanced level freeride focus)
- Snowboard: 7-14 years (all levels, plus advanced level freeride focus)
Our 4-day adventure programme at Treble Cone. TC Skiwees & Lowriders is designed as the ultimate school holiday ski and snowboard programme, utilising the best terrain in the Southern Lakes. Four days of skiing or riding with a specialised coach, working on technique and terrain. Running on selected weeks of the season, July 8, 15, 22, 29 and August 5. The programme is open to novice, intermediate and advanced skiers and riders.
Our programmes offers a combination of progression and competition preparation.
We offer our TC Freeride programme as a season long set that consists of 3 back-to-back parts. They reflect the progression of the season and best utilize the opportunities we have at the time.
With some of New Zealand's most challenging freeride terrain, we are well set up to help your young skier or snowboarder become the best they can be. This program covers “Train to Compete” part of the snow sports progression.

Cardrona and Treble Cone is the home of the Wānaka Ski Team (WST). Our mission: develop resilient athletes who achieve and unlock their ski racing goals and potential.
The Wānaka Ski Team has had huge success throughout New Zealand due to our commitment to excellence, and we’ll continue to build on our results.
Our fully tiered race training program accommodates athletes at all levels - from entry-level juniors to seasoned FIS-level competitors. Your race journey will be supported through comprehensive race programs, on and off-snow training and race event support by our passionate coaches who bring extensive knowledge and experience to the table.
Being based at Cardrona and Treble Cone ski areas has unique perks. Both mountains provide a variety of pistes, early access to untouched terrain, and exclusive access to dedicated training arenas.

Instructor Training Centre is based at both Cardrona and Treble Cone, and is here to help you achieve your goal of becoming a ski or snowboard instructor with training in NZSIA and SBINZ courses.
