In June 2006 Snowline Holdings lodged a consent application to construct a gondola to enable access between the Motatapu Valley and Treble Cone Ski Area.

In the period 27th – 30th November 2006 the application was heard by commissioners D Collins and G Macleod on behalf of QLDC.

On 19th December 2006 an interim memorandum from the Commissioners was provided to the company. This memorandum indicated scenarios whereby the commissioners felt amendments to the application could be appropriate.

In the intervening period, the company has reviewed the suggested recommendations and has made amendments where possible. The attached information set represents an amended design which incorporates many of the commissioner’s suggestions.
