Masters are unique among the participants in the most popular snowsport: alpine skiing. Not content to rest upon past successes, masters racers seek to reach their best beyond the public perception of prime years. Masters racing is designed for every level of skier ability, from entry level racers through ex-national team members. Masters racing provides the next step for up and coming accomplished skiers who are late bloomers, ski instructors and coaches, former professional racers and even ex-national team members.
There are many pioneers of the ski industry competing within masters, including ski area developers, ski equipment and clothing entrepreneurs, former national team members and Olympians. Masters racing is highly social, and the masters are a friendly group. Of the reasons current masters list for participation, camaraderie is always among the first. Second, of course, for a love of competition. At many events, masters racing is a family affair, where two or three generations compete. |

Race Programme Emphasis
|
|
| |
| Each day of training TC Masters participate in several aspects of ski training. A free ski warm up is followed by skills work and free skiing drills, mixed with running gate drills and Slalom, GS and Super G courses. This proven format allows the racer to simultaneously work on fundamental skill development, modern race tactics and strategies on each run. Our gate progression and athletes centered methodology allow TC Masters athletes to develop skills and confidence while having fun and running lots of gates! TC Masters coaches will custom taylor a Programme for each athlete targeted at their specific level of motivation, intensity, understanding and movements. A guaranteed low athlete to coach ratio allows TC Masters coaches to effectively coach to the athletes individual needs. |
