School ski trips are an amazing experience for kids and something they will remember for life, offering children who would not normally have the opportunity to try skiing or boarding a chance to give it a go.

Skiing and snowboarding are more than just leisure activities. They provide opportunities for health, education and personal growth of children and young adults. They improve balance, coordination and stamina and help develop self-esteem and a sense of accomplishment. It gives children a chance to socialise in a new environment which can help to encourage friendships and build confidence.

All students coming to Treble Cone as part of a school trip are required to take lessons, this is to ensure they maximise their learning potential in a fun and safe learning environment. While we encourage teachers and any other supervisors to take part in the complete programme, individual rates are available to group organisers on the day of the trip.

Ski and Snowboard Levels Guide for School and Social Groups

Duration of  group lessons is 1.25 hours, starting at 9.00am. The instructor to student ratio is a maximum of 1 - 10

The Fine Print

1. School group bookings are essential and there must be a minimum of 10 school students to qualify.
   
2. Discounts will not be available to groups who arrive at Treble Cone without having pre-booked.
3. School rates are available to NZ Schools only. Please contact us for International School Rates.
4. Rental rates apply to either a Ski Set (carving skis, boots and poles)or snowboard set (board and boots)
5. Youth - aged 6-17 years attending primary or secondary school. Proof of age may be requested. Under 6 years FREE
6. Senior - 65 to 69. Proof of age may be requested. 70 years and over FREE
7. Your school booking is only confirmed once  Treble Cone has received all your booking forms.  You will be contacted a week prior to your arrival to confirm your booking
8. New Zealand and Australia Tertiary Institution Student ID Only - ISIC cards not accepted.
9. Payment - Payment must be received as one payment for the whole group on a daily basis.
