Trail Enhancements
Over the past four years Treble Cone has invested heavily in trail enhancements with major earthwork projects creating new runs and widening existing ones. The project has continued this summer with the widening and camber adjustment of South Ridge in the Saddle Basin further improving this signature run. Treble Cone now has some of the best intermediate runs in the country to compliment its unparalleled free riding terrain for which it is renowned.

Burton Learn to Ride Programme
An exciting development for beginner snowboarders coming to Treble Cone this season is the introduction of the Burton Learn to Ride programme. The programme which uses, equipment specially designed for first timers, a set lesson structure and limited class sizes, has been tried and proven around the world promising great results for first time snow boarders. Treble Cone met Burton’s strict criteria for allowing its programmes to be used when their team visited in 2007.

TC Freeride Programme
Treble Cone’s legendary natural terrain makes it the perfect setting for a true big mountain training environment. Due to regular requests we have introduced the new TC Freeride Programme and TC Freeski Camp both specially designed to cater for teenagers 13-17 years who wish to progress in the dynamic sport of free skiing / boarding. The TC Freeride programme runs for ten, 4hour sessions throughout the season ($550 coaching only) and the TC Freeski camp is a condensed version that runs for one week during the July School Holidays ($620 Coaching & Lift Pass).

New Branding
In addition to the on mountain investment Treble Cone has unveiled new branding. The new logo has a fresher modern look and the addition of the three stripes represent the mountain where the ski area is situated. In conjunction with the branding the new website is easier to navigate and has some great new features, including Treble Cone Holidays, an online holiday planner enabling visitors to book pre packaged holidays or to build their own holidays from a selection of transport, accommodation, lift pass, lesson and rental options.

Snow Making
2008 will see further investment to the ski areas snow making system with the addition of new state of the art snow guns. These will greatly improve the already impressive capabilities of the existing system, ensuring good snow coverage on main trails in Home Basin and assisting in the ski area opening on the 30th June in time for the School Holidays.

Other Developments
Other developments include a complete refurbishment of the women's toilets in the base lodge and a continuation of sustainable tourism initiatives such as car pooling, recycling, energy saving and the completion of a new environmentally friendly sewerage system.
