| Geoff Small – Treble Cone Sponsored Skier |
| |
Geoff was 5 when he and his brother Mike first skied on planks. 25 years later, Geoff has skied most continents and spent at least half that time in continual winter.
Growing up on a farm near Huntly, New Zealand, probably shaped things, especially those fast-twitch muscle reflexes… plenty of close calls and near-death experiences, what with all those animals and farm-machinery. A family friend once told him if he survived the farm, he’d do pretty good in life. The kiwi outdoors, combined with international experience, has proven a successful recipe.
Geoff has seven New Zealand National Freeski titles, and dominated the North American Tour in 2000, winning three consecutive North American Freeride Championships. Competing in World championship events along with the world’s best freeskiers, and on some of the gnarliest faces, has lead to a creative and playful skiing style that is Smally’s skiing signature. |
