The Hiring Clinic is a three day course held at Treble Cone which is used as a selection based opportunity for full and part time employment within Treble Cone's Snow Sports School.
This intense training course is run by Treble Cone's ski and snowboard trainers and will cover all aspects of snow sports instruction and offer the chance of selection for full-time or part time employment for the 2012 season. During the three day course our trainers will give you Treble Cone specific information on personal ski/board improvement, teaching tactics for children and adults, teaching progressions, class management, professionalism, demos, detection and correction.
Once you have complete the Hiring Clinic it is not guaranteed you will be offered a position at Treble Cone.
People registering for the Hiring Clinic need to be legally entitled to work in New Zealand for the duration of the season.
Previous teaching experience is not required but a minimal level of qualification is needed. For example a current NZSIA 1, CASI 1, BASI 1, APSI 1, PSIA 1, OBSV Anwarter, Jokyoshu Japan or equivalent.
The Hiring Clinic will take place from 28 - 30 June 2012.
The cost for this three day course is $250.
Bookings for the Hiring Clinic need to be submitted online and will be available from 2 May 2012. There are limited numbers for this course so an advanced booking is advised.
If employment is offered you will be required to complete an employee induction day following the course.
If any successful applicants have purchased a Treble Cone season season pass they will have this refunded upon successful employment.
Treble Cone will not organise your accommodation or transport however there are many options of backpacker style accommodation available in Wanaka. Go to www.lakewanaka.com for accommodation options. Transport Shuttles run from town to the mountain daily, or take the Treble Cone Shuttle from the bottom of the access road to the base lodge for just $10 return.
