The Hiring Clinic is for instructors who do not have a current ISIA equivalent qualification. The Hiring clinic is a selection based opportunity for full or part time employment at Treble Cone Snow Sports School.
At this stage Treble Cone will be holding the Snow Sports Instructor Hiring Clinic from 24 June 2010. The Hiring Clinic is an intense four day training course run by our Treble Cone ski and snowboard trainers and will cover all aspects of snow sports instruction and offer the chance of selection for full-time or part time employment for the 2010 season. During the four day course our trainers will coach you on personal ski / board improvement, teaching tactics for children and adults, teaching progressions, class management, professionalism, demos, detection and correction.

The cost for this four day course is $250. If any successful applicants have purchased an early  seasons pass they will have this refunded upon successful employment.

There are limited numbers for this course so an advanced booking is advised. Online bookings for the Hiring Clinic opened on 1 May.

If employment is offered you will be required to complete an employee induction day following the course.

People registering for the Hiring Clinic need to be legally eligible to work in New Zealand.

Previous teaching experience is not required but a minimal level of qualification is needed. For example a current NZSIA CSI, CASI 1 or 2, BASI 3, APSI 1, PSIA 1, OBSV anwarter, Jokyoshu Japan or similar in home snow sport alliance.
